By car
The Electronic Measurements and Signal Processing Department is located on the campus of the Technical University Ilmenau.
When traveling via the A4 highway, take the A71 at the Erfurt junction (Erfurter Kreuz) and then the Ilmenau Ost exit. Turn left at the second stop light in the direction of TU Ilmenau, then right onto the B88, continuing on toward TU Ilmenau. 1,500 meters after crossing the city limits, turn right onto Ehrenbergstraße and the TU campus. Follow Ehrenbergstraße until it turns into the Helmholtzring. Helmholtzplatz is at the end of Helmholtzring.
When traveling via the B4 from the south, drive through the round-about in the direction of Weimar. At the third stop light, turn right onto the B88 toward Rudolstadt/Königsee. After crossing the railroad tracks, drive another 500 meters and turn left onto Ehrenbergstraße and the TU campus. Follow Ehrenbergstraße until it turns into the Helmholtzring. Helmholtzplatz is at the end of Helmholtzring.
By train
From Erfurt, trains or buses depart hourly for Ilmenau. Travel time is approximately one hour.
From the central train station, walk along the Langewiesener Straße in the direction of Rudolstadt/Königsee for approx. 10 minutes. Turn left onto Ehrenbergstraße and the TU campus. Follow this street until it ends.
By plane
Our facility can be reached by rental car or taxi from the Erfurt Airport via the A71 highway. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
