Best part of my job:

The SoundLab group. I have the privilege of working with the  finest audio and video equipment, bringing all my strengths to the table. Every day is unique; one must respond  individually and improvise.

This is how I will later describe my job to my grandchildren:

I worked together with other scientists to ensure that we can enjoy the best sound experience  when listening to music and watching TV today. Plus, we even had our own movie theater to do so...

My dream job as a child:

Pilot, cop (dad - cop – no way), chef (it almost happened)

I incorporate the following private interests into my job:

Teaching, photography/movies and music. And a love of coffee.
