The effects of climate change are making life hard for the sensitive coffee plant. Experts warn that without appropriate countermeasures, more than half of the area currently used for growing coffee will no longer be suitable for that purpose. And thus the Fraunhofer Institutes IIS and IISB joined up with the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and for the first time jointly developed the #inNUEvation Conference based on the platform of the LZE e. V. International experts from research, business, and politics gathered there to examine the topic of innovation from different perspectives and to exchange ideas and views.
