Fraunhofer’s Audio and Media Technologies division has been shaping globally deployed standards in the media field for more than 35 years. Our best-in-class technologies are elevating the user experience to new heights.
Discover our innovations for the music industry in our demo room 119 at the NAMM show
(right behind the NAMM idea center).
We will demonstrate the industry’s most advanced immersive and interactive audio system on the new Sennheiser AMBEO Plus Soundbar, playing back 3D music through the Amazon Fire Cube. MPEG-H Audio is the basis of the 360 Reality Audio format now distributed by Tidal, Amazon Music, and other streaming services.
Discover more about MPEG-H Audio.
We will demonstrate our new iPad and iPhone app that offers binaural rendering to AirPod Max headphones and performs an automatic HRTF adjustment for your hearing.
Experience interactive music tracks on the mH-ii App by Media Hyperium. The app draws from the 2-times Grammy-winning album “Divine Tides” created by Ricky Kej, Stewart Copeland, Eric Schilling, and Media Hyperium founder Herbert Waltl. The App allows you to create your own mix (within authored creative limits) or to choose between preset mixes.

MPEG-H Audio enables content creators to produce immersive and personalized experiences and our range of standalone tools and DAW-plugins helps creatives to work with maximum smoothness. Sound sources such as vocals, chorus, and instruments can be positioned in a three-dimensional space to perfectly match the creative and artistic intent. When playing back the resulting content, listeners can enjoy music that immerses them in sound from every direction as intended by the content creator.
We look forward to meeting you and showcasing how our innovations benefit the music industry.
