München - How to find us

The Munich site of the Center for Applied Research on Supply Chain Services at Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS is centrally located in downtown Munich near the "Universität" subway station.

The premises are located on the ground floor of the rear building at Adalbertstraße 16.

 

By train

From the main station, take any S-Bahn in the direction of Ostbahnhof to the Marienplatz stop. From there, take the U3 Moosach / U6 Garching, Forschungszentrum to the Universität stop. From there, walk about 1-2 minutes (130m) north on Ludwigstraße. Turn left into Adalbertstraße. The building is on the right-hand side of the street.

Airplane

From Munich Airport continue with

• S-Bahn (approx. 45 minutes) S8 Herrsching to Marienplatz. Change there to the subway U6 Garching, Forschungszentrum to the stop Universität. From the stop, walk about 1-2 minutes (130m) north on Ludwigstraße. Turn left into Adalbertstraße. The building is on the right-hand side of the street.
• By car / rental car / cab (approx. 35 minutes) via Zentralallee heading west. Take the A92. Take the exit towards A9 and follow the signs towards A9/Salzburg/Munich. Keep left and continue on the A9 and follow the signs for München/Stuttgart/Lindau. Keep left at the fork, continue on exit 76-Münchene-Schwabing and follow the signs for Mittlerer Ring O/Messe/ICM and continue on Schenkendorfstraße/B2R.

Take the exit towards Allianz Arena/A9/Nürnberg/Flughafen/Landshut/Zentrum. Continue on Schenkendorfstraße and then turn right onto Ungererstraße. Turn left onto Leopoldstraße. Turn right onto Akademiestraße. Turn left onto Amalienstraße. Turn left onto Adalbertstraße.

By car

We recommend traveling via the north of Munich. Take the Mittlerer Ring / B2R. Take the exit towards Allianz Arena/A9/Nürnberg/Airport/Landshut/Zentrum. Continue on Schenkendorfstraße and then turn onto Ungererstraße towards the city center. Turn left onto Leopoldstraße. Turn right onto Akademiestraße. Turn left onto Amalienstraße. Turn left onto Adalbertstraße.

Please note: Adalbertstraße is a one-way street.

Parking facilities

Unfortunately, there is no Fraunhofer parking lot or guest parking lot. With a parking ticket and if a parking space is available, parking is possible on the roadside.
