A roughly 450-year-old cup was X-rayed on behalf of the Kunsthalle Würth. Due to the intricate nature of the object, the scan could only be performed using the world's unique XXL computed tomography system in Fürth. The generated data was needed to create a faithful replica of the cup.

The cup, approximately 58 centimeters high, is made of gilded silver and is engraved with numerous images. Using the highly accurate digital volumetric data set, experts were able to replicate the valuable artwork.
