Interface tester for OBISS-based Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
The DT4610 is an interface tester for the OBISS SDR interface between a digital baseband unit (BBE) and a transmit and receive module (TRX).
The OBISS interface was developed to provide a high degree of modularity and flexibility to future SDRs. Different frequency ranges can be supported by connecting appropriate transmit/receive modules in each case. New platform requirements resulting from the evolution of waveform technologies can be met by replacing the baseband unit alone.
The DT4610 provides four operating modes:
- Interface test for TRX
- Interface test for BBE
- Data capture between BBE and TRX
- Baseband link between two BBEs
