In the industrial environment, sensor data such as temperature or vibrations are already being recorded by machines during the production process. This data can already be processed directly on an edge device and critical conditions can be detected directly on the machine - without transmission to a cloud. This condition monitoring can then support maintenance personnel with upcoming maintenance measures. Maintenance processes are initiated at an early stage - thus avoiding downtime and the associated downtime costs.
