Digital Radiology RT S 1
Like common radiographic examination, digital radiology is utilized to find discontinuities and faults in the whole cross section of a test piece. In this procedure, the chemical development of X-ray film is replaced by image acquisition through analog and digital detectors.
Level 1 courses are targeted at users of film-free X-ray inspection, who are involved in cast production, automobile industry or several other fields of production and have worked with this testing technique before. In this course, you will learn the physics behind the procedure in lectures, practical exercises and demonstrations. Thereby the focus lies on cast materials and is aimed at testing personnel, who is familiar with stationary X-ray testing equipment.
The course is comprised of 10 teaching units, which are spread over 4 days. Through regular attendance of the course, you will receive a participant’s certification. Adjacent to the course, there will be a qualification exam level 1 that is recognized as a prerequisite for DIN EN 473 certification.
