Digital Radiology RT S 2
Like common radiographic examination, digital radiology is utilized to find discontinuities and faults in the whole cross section of a test piece. In this procedure, the chemical development of X-ray film is replaced by image acquisition through analog and digital detectors.
Level 2 courses are aimed at testing personnel as well as supervisory staff, who is familiar with digital X-ray testing equipment and is qualified to install, regulate and optimize such units. During the courses, users of stationary radioscopy units will learn about the setup and functionality of different digital detector systems. Furthermore the course teachs how to conduct testing according to standards, how to prepare test instructions as well as basics and targeted application of digital image processing.
The courses are comprised of 10 teaching units, which are spread over 4 days. Through regular attendance of the course, you will receive a participant’s certification. Adjacent to the course, there will be a qualification exam level 2 that is recognized as a prerequisite for DIN EN 473 certification.
