Endoscopy Anonymizer Software

When publishing endoscopy images in reports or creating datasets for training AI based endoscopy solutions, it is important that image data is anonymized. Our Endoscopy Anonymizer software is a simple powerful Windows tool that can be used offline to anonymize endoscopy images or videos. It has been successfully employed to process data from multiple endoscopy vendors including Olympus, Pentax or Fuji in both SD and HD resolution.

Technical Workflow

Endoscopy Anonymizer can be configured to monitor a folder (local or network share) and will then automatically detect each new image copied to the folder, locate patient information using OCR technology and create an anonymized copy to a separate configurable folder location where all text information is painted over with black bars.
